This electric powered 230V ( Can be switched to 115V) oversized shop display with five moving blades was widely distributed across Europe from the 1950’s onwards by Victorinox to advertise the sale of their world famous Swiss Army Knives.
This specific edition is dated to the 1970s. This fun and good looking piece of advertising history would have been a common sight to you growing up in the latter part of the twentieth century.
Come on guys, who of you did not have one of these knifes when he was young and shopped the windows for even bigger versions as a boy?
This big motorized moving display is made from molded plastic and thermoformed metal and is a great home accent, eye catcher and decoration item. The model is in great working condition and state for its age with the right amount of authentic patina.
