Strap Guide – The Seiko 62MAS

Welcome to the Bulang and Sons Strap Guide. Our aim is to showcase some of our most popular straps on a range of iconic watches so you can see how the different combinations work.

The Original Seiko Diver

Launched in 1965 it was the first Seiko to be depth rated to 150m (previous watches were only rated at 50m). The watch features an interesting green/grey sunburst dial with rectangular hour markers housed in a 37mm case – a big watch for the 1960s!

Seiko utilised a screwdown case back and tropic crystal and the 62MAS also has the winding crown at 3 o’clock unlike most other Seiko dive watches where its at 4 0’clock. We love vintage watches, we love dive watches and we most definitely love the 62MAS!
