Hermès was founded in Paris in 1837 by Thierry Hermès as a harness workshop for European noblemen. Over the generations, the company expanded into luxury leather goods, accessories, and clothing, moving its headquarters to 24 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in 1900. Iconic creations such as the Sac à dépêches (later known as the Kelly bag) and Hermès scarves were introduced in the 1930s, cementing the brand’s enduring legacy.
